The Sparta Education Foundation (SEF) is thrilled to announce our "Extra Extras for Education" campaign. SEF is known for "Providing Extras for Education". In this case, the additional "extra" in the "Extra Extras for Education" campaign is an incredibly generous $100,000 matching grant from long-time Sparta residents and dedicated supporters of Sparta Area Schools. 

Here's how it works. For every dollar donated to the SEF, the matching grant will kick in another dollar, effectively doubling the impact of every dollar donated! The matching grant is only in effect until June 2025, so donate early and donate often so we can maximize this grant to benefit Sparta area students.

How is the SEF helping students? With this matching grant, the SEF can potentially double the number of grants we give out. Past grants have included extras for education such as in-school support animals to help students experiencing stress and anxiety, drone camera for media classes, instruments for music, performance assemblies such as Lion Heart, technology for classrooms, and more! Click on the Grants menu at the top of the page for a list of grants in the past year.

The SEF has never had such a wonderful opportunity to help Sparta Students. But the matching grant will only work if people donate. You can easily donate through our website with bank ACH or a credit card (earn points or cash back with your credit card provider; SEF does not maintain any credit card information for your safety). You can donate one-time or set up a recurring monthly donation which helps us plan and forecast for future grants.
